Goblin

GoblinsFrom their birthplace in France, these nasty, hideous cousins of gnomes have spread all over Europe. When they entered England in ancient times, the Druids called them Robin Goblins, from which the name "hobgoblin" derives.

Goblins have no permanent home, living temporarily in old trees and under moss-covered rocks. Reported to be playful on occasion, goblins are nonetheless to be avoided. A goblin's smile can curdle blood, and its laugh can make milk turn sour. Goblins amuse themselves by hiding things, spilling food, and confusing travelers by changing signposts.

Theres is a goblin liveing in my house and it creeps me out! It hides under my computer desk when I work at it some times and when it's not there I can sometimes see it out of the corner of my eye. About five seconds ago it was sitting near my feet and when I went to look straight at it hid! It freaks me out!

Anonymous How do you reveal a goblin? 9 Sep 14 2008, 6:56 AM EDT by dancingpaws

I'm pretty sure there is a goblin living in my house, and I have reason to believe its been here for several years. Only recently, its gotten worse. It enjoys rearranging things - one day I went up to my room to find that my minature cat collection had been systematically knocked over, my bag of runes had flipped around, and several things on my bulletin board were in different directions. This goblin also enjoys knocking on walls. It (I do not know it's gender) taps outside at least once a day, although there was one time where me and my two sisters were in three differnt rooms, my one sister kocked once on the wall, and this consistant knocking began. None of us were doing it. A few years ago, our dead guinea pig's grave was dug up; i've read somewhere goblins will do that. Even now the computer is typing lines of '''''' when my fingers are nowhere near the keyboard.

My little sister, seven years old, insisted she could see it one morning camoflagued in the tree beside our house, but only when she was looking through the upstairs window and it couldn't see her. She says it eats bees.

Is this a goblin, and if it is, how do I reveal/make contact with it?
